What’s your fav model you painted (show it off pls) and what’s the one that frustrated you the most (angry rant request)?
An EVIL question! It's like asking for my favourite child!
I'll pick a few!
On a technical level, I think Big Mort is definitely one of my best!
But alas, with how good that model is it's kind of hard NOT to have him be one of your bests. He has only seen one game so far where he absolutely obliterated Angron. I was very smug :3
Vicar Amelia is definitely another one of my faves!
As a whole, my Bloodborne collection is definitely the "Crown Jewel" of my ensemble of tiny toys. I seem to have developed the most skills from painting these and they still remain some of my best minis despite being done a few years ago now. Amelia was one of the first too and I'm just very happy with how she turned out! She also gets bonus points for being my favourite boss in Bloodborne.
Lastly for the good ones, how could I not include the Baneblade?
I think this is probaaaaaaably my favourite out of everything. It's a giant tank and as someone with a huge hyperfix on the things it's no surprise that the biggest of them all is my favourite. I got this thing when I was around 13 I think and it's been repainted a total of 2 times now. Once in Cadian 8th colours, then repainted and improved, and then repainted again in December last year so it can fit with my traitor guard. I intend to use it as an imperial knight one day but for the meanwhile it is a glorified terrain piece in most of our games.
Now for a one I don't like?
It took a while to figure out but when looking through my mini shelves I settled on the only figure I've ever given up painting:
The Soul of Cinder! You'll notice his sword has snapped off...
I don't know. I just couldn't figure out how to make it work. I sorta blame the textureless cloth and armour for my struggle as it's not really a very good depiction of the guy himself. There's definitely been newer sculpts around the 3d printing realm recently but I don't really have the effort to replace it.
