What would the dynamic between Billy and Baldina be like?
Context: This comic is part of my au (Basic Issue 818). This takes place during the early beginnings of the Here-School-Plus-More merger.
What is the Here-School-Plus-More merger? It’s an event where Here School invited other schools to merge with them to expand the curriculum! Baldina’s school was hired for English; Joe’s school for Math; Billy’s school for Home Economics respectively.
Baldina and Billy are not very close. Baldina always too nervous to talk to him, and Billy doesn’t really care for anyone deeply. Billy only start to care about Baldina on an emotional level when Baldina finally made an effort to talk to him. Baldina’s crush on Billy was very superficial. She thought he’s a cool guy, so in order to make him like her she thought she needs to be a cool guy too, so she pretended… Baldina is really horrible at pretending though and she can only be her awkwardly charming nerd self no matter how hard she tries to be cool!
For a deeper understanding of their dynamic, I’ve written a oneshot about them :) it’s about Baldina losing her cool and venting to Billy. Baldina believes Billy to act like the idealised stoic man she invented in her mind, but she is surprised when Billy shows a softer side.
