The 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille was manufactured in Detroit, Michigan. It was one of the most fascinating car designs of the 1950s. The car was designed by Bill Mitchell, Chuck Jordan, and Dave Holls.

The 1959 Cadillac lineup was considered to be the heyday of Cadillac. The 1959 Cadillacs had some of the most technologically advanced options of the 1950s, including air conditioning, cruise control, and a triple-carb V8.

The 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVille was a two-door hardtop coupe with a 130 inch wheelbase. It was the most popular style of the Series 6300 DeVille line, with 21,924 sales. The Coupe DeVille came with a 390 cubic inch (6.4 liter) V8 engine. The engine has a 4-barrel Carter AFB2814S carburetor and produces 325 horsepower.

The right-wing media ecosystem has exploded with false claims about a newly-declassified annex to special counsel John Durham’s report on Russian collusion with Trump’s 2016 campaign. Right-wing media are claiming that the annex provides evidence of a “plot” by the Clinton campaign to undermine then-candidate Donald Trump. However, the newly-declassified assessment found that the documents in question were “not credible” and “likely made by Russian spies.” Conservative media figures have ignored this assessment, instead calling for Hillary Clinton to be put “behind bars” for coordinating a “soft coup attempt.” And although they previously heralded Durham’s efforts, some in right-wing media are now arguing he “failed the American people.”

On Thursday, the New York Post falsely claimed that newly declassified documents showed Clinton approved a plan to “smear” Trump with the Russia collusion narrative. The Post pointed to what it claimed are “explosive intelligence files declassified” this week, that purportedly show a “plot” in emails between Clinton’s campaign and allies to smear Trump with Russian collusion narratives. The evidence allegedly comes from Durham’s probe. [New York Post, 7/31/25]

In reality, the declassified documents show the opposite: the report’s conclusion was that the supposedly scandalous emails “were likely made by Russian spies.” Reporting from the New York Times noted that Durham’s assessment was that “a key piece of supposed evidence for the claim that Mrs. Clinton approved a plan to tie Mr. Trump to Russia is not credible” and was “probably manufactured.” Furthermore, Durham’s assessment was that the purported emails “were ultimately a composite of several emails that were obtained through Russian intelligence hacking of the U.S.-based think tanks.” [New York Times, 7/31/25]

The disclosure — which the Times called “the latest in a series of disclosures about the Russia inquiry, as the Trump team seeks to distract from the Jeffrey Epstein files” — follows weeks of outrage from some right-wing media over the administration’s handling of Epstein’s case. While some outlets have aided the administration’s attempt to deflect attention from Epstein, others, especially the hosts of online shows, have called the disclosures a “distraction” meant to make supporters “stop paying attention to Epstein.” [Media Matters, 7/9/25, 7/23/25, 7/28/25, 7/30/25; New York Times, 7/31/25]
