This is so disappointing. I always saw Lizzo as an advocate for women, women of color, and fat women and to know she put all of them in unsafe situations and didn’t listen to their concerns and ignored their safety- that she took the gap that she received and turned it on others is disappointing. I’m worried that white people will see this as the meatiest excuse to be racist or to be fatphobic. White people will see a person of color do something they don’t like and then say everyone in that race is bad. Even though we’re responsible for SLAVERY. God. I don’t want fat women, women of color, and fat women women of color to lose one of the few forms of representation that they had. We desperately need more fat positivity and more Black women in the media.
