These Big Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies are a classic favorite that will delight anyone with their soft and chewy texture and the rich flavor of semisweet chocolate chips.
Ingredients: 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup packed light brown sugar. 1 teaspoon salt. 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract. 2 large eggs. 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips.
Instructions: Warm your oven up to 375F 190C and put parchment paper on baking sheets. Mix the flour and baking soda together in a small bowl. Softened butter, white sugar, light brown sugar, and salt should all be mixed together in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth. Before adding the next egg or vanilla extract, make sure the butter mixture is well mixed. Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix them together until they are just barely combined. Add the semisweet chocolate chips and mix them in until they are spread out evenly in the dough. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets that have been prepared. You can use a cookie scoop or a spoon for this. For 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden, bake the cookies. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before moving them to wire racks to cool all the way. With a glass of cold milk, these big, soft chocolate chip cookies are great.
