When doing digital work, always work bigger than you intend the actual picture to be. I tend to work twice to three times bigger and then reduce the size. Why? It helps minimize appearance of goof-ups so your work looks even better!

This maybe isn't the best example, but see how the color doesn't exactly match the lines and some of the lines are kinda jagged or unfinished?

You're bound to make mistakes, so if you make them when the picture is large, then minimize the size...
