There’s something in Washington’s eyes that Alex recognizes. Something soft, mixed with his hard gaze. Something Alex knows all too well.
“I-,” Washington tries to say, but Alex grabs his face and crashes their lips together before he can get anything out.
The impact is hard and dry, but very soon they are both grabbing each other’s shirts and licking into each other’s mouths with such force.
Washington pulls the hair tie out of Alex’s hair and tangles his fingers in the dark strands, pulling Alex closer to him.
“Fuck,” Alex says, a garbled moan.
Washington groans in response. “Christ, you’re gorgeous.”
Alex has been waiting for this moment for so long. And fuck, here it is, truly happening and real. Not just a fantasy in his head. It’s real and fucking hell, Washington’s lips are so soft and he is just so handsome, and Alex thinks he might just die because of it all.
“Just for you, sir.” He pulls away from the kiss to smile at Washington. “Just for you.”
“Yes,” Washington responds. He leans down to whisper in Alex’s ear. “Just for me.”
And then he’s kissing Alex again.
Maybe everything around them is a total mess. Maybe everything around them is falling to pieces. But in this moment, Alex is kissing George goddamn Washington and despite no words being exchanged on the subject, he’s pretty sure they’ve just admitted their love for one another.
So in this moment, everything is perfectly fine.
