I Really Like Them Okay#they are really Really good and post punky#Bichkraft#Kiev#Ukraine#post punk#<333#the thing they said about certain places just being easier to form electronic bands in—Yeah#as someone who lived one town away from the site of the largest fucking EDM festival on the entire continent#yeah#it is simply easier to form electronic outfits in some places. There are v v few guitar bands where I am from and most of them#are pressured into covering Pink Floyd so it's Not Great for them#people would rather attend a Led Zeppelin album listen than go hear original new music. We're very classic rock nostalgia#which is fucking wild because we never had a fucking scene even back then#I make us sound very music starved but in a certain independent way we ARE#all the cool bands I know from here are signed to labels abroad because it's a barren wasteland in India cuz there's no affordable venues#and no one wants to listen to anything#and they want you to engineer shit that's already engineered instead of making something new and meaningful#sorry I'll probably delete half these tags tomorrow it's 5 AM#but yeah#Bichkraft talk about making music under oppressive regimes and all and I just have SO much respect for them#and their music is great so Bichkraft supremacy yes#(fyi- largest EDM festival in Asia: sunburn festival in Goa)#Bandcamp
