   i  think  that  whole  first  year  that  liz  lived  in  the  hotel  she  had  to  be  brave   –––   every  single  day.   not  only  was  she  discovering  herself  bit  by  bit,   but  she  was  also  dealing  with  the  repercussions  of  never  going  back  to  topeka   &   her  divorce.   it  was  definitely  difficult  to  go   &   sit  at  that  front  desk  or  go  tend  the  bar  without  putting  on  a  brave  face.

*   jonquil:  has your character ever confessed their love for someone?  how did it go?

   she  has  !   she  falls  so  easily  that  it’s  sorta  ridiculous   &   almost  sad,   because  she  usually  ends  up  getting  her  heart  broken.   canonically,   she  confesses  her  love  to  tristan  after  he’s  confessed  first.   i  think  that  leads  me  to  believe  that,   because  she  knows  she  falls  fast  for  men  who  are  probably  going  to  leave  her,   she  isn’t  usually  the  first  to  say  i  love  you.

*   kennedia:   one thing your character admires in someone.

   tbh  it  really  depends  on  the  person.   like,   she  admires  the  countess’s  confidence,   but  she  also  admires  iris’s  perseverance   &   ramona’s  ability  to  pull  off  literally  anything.

*    oak leaves:   describe a victory your character is proud of.

*   purple violet:   are there any topics your character dodges?

   not  many.   she  definitely  avoids  things  like  tristan’s  death  (  esp  the  aftermath  ),   &   she  doesn’t  necessarily  like  to  tell  her  backstory  either.   she’ll  usually  do  either,   though,   if  prompted  by  somebody  she  trusts.

*   yew:   what makes your character sad?

   what  her  life  would’ve  been  like  had  she   “ let  the  liz  out ”   sooner  than  she  had.   not  that  she’s  unhappy  with  where  she  is  now,   but  sometimes  she  wonders.

*   pink zinnia:   who will your character always be friends with?

   the  countess  !   iris  !   ramona  !   tristan  !   john  !   the  whole  ghost  family  !
