I may be evil. I fantasize that there will be an attempt to hold me accountable for my brother, so I may say
"Am i my brother's keeper?"
i feel like making my right eye sin so i can gouge it out
Annabelle Cain
That... Took me longer than i would've liked.
Cain. Abel.
Abel. Annabelle.
I need a wall to hit my head on.

Short little blurb, because I don't practice this well enough to say much about it, but if you're someone who consistently hates yourself and defaults to self-deprecation, God doesn't want you to do that. Yes, the Bible usually speaks negatively about "lovers of self," but in those verses, it's talking about self-importance, self-worship (all those online celebrities that you hate so much, for example).
The verse "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" implies that God already expects us to be loving ourselves; i.e., treating ourselves with kindness and respect.
It also implies that you can't love others the way God does UNLESS you love YOURSELF the way God does.
Now, as to HOW you go about doing that... I'll tell you when I figure it out. All I know right now is that this is true, and it's something God wants you to do.

Sometimes I wonder why God allows His own people to suffer. Like, I understand persecution, why it exists.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Matthew 5:12
But it still feels a little unfair.
But I think, maybe, I finally came to understand it a little.
Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Matthew 23:34-35
The reason Jesus' followers suffer, the reason Jesus Himself suffered, wasn't for the sake of suffering. It wasn't just, "well, this is just how it is, they're evil, so they're gonna hurt us." No, that's not it.
It's because they're gonna suffer for making us suffer, for making Jesus suffer. We hurt now, we die now, but we go to heaven and won't even remember the pain. But them? The tormentors? They have to suffer FOR ETERNITY for what they did, unless they repent.
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Luke 23:34
And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7:60
We shouldn't be angry at our persecutors. We should weep for them, and pray that they will repent so they don't have to spend eternity suffering in the same way they made us suffer for a short time.
