I am a wanderer cast out of heaven, formless; slipping into cloud, beast, or man as easily as breath. I borrow faces, take any likeness, become the one you ache for. I arrive as warmth on your lips, a feeling that reaches you before it is known. I live on passing sweetness, tasting beauty without ever holding it. I am allowed to love without measure on this earth, yet I carry nothing forward. Every face dissolves, every touch fades. I remain bound to desire, denied its reciprocity, until the curse lifts after every lover has slipped beyond memory.

Varaha (Sanskrit: वराह, Varāha, "boar") is one avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu, in the form of a boar. Varaha is generally listed as third in the Dashavatara, the ten principal avataras of Vishnu.

Varaha lifts the earth goddess Bhumi out of the cosmic ocean when the demon Hiranyaksha stole the earth goddess and hid her in the primordial waters. Vishnu appeared as Varaha to rescue her. Varaha killed Hiranyaksha and retrieved the earth goddess from the cosmic ocean, lifting it on his tusks, and restored her to her place in the universe.
