Yeah, I see not being able to bring a friend. I’m planning on getting a tattoo in the next few months but all of my friends are in class at weird ass hours so I’m probably bringing my dad.
My mom wanted to go but she makes these weird hissing noises in sympathy when something looks like it hurts and I can't handle that. So I just "couldn't get an appointment" when she's not working.
The only reason she was there when I got my eyebrow pierced was that I was her moral support for getting her industrial. She offered to pay for whatever I wanted if I came with her. I mean, I would've gone anyway. But why not.

yOOOOOOOOOOO THAT’S RAD AS HELL Also, I think it’s perfectly reasonable to bring a comfort item! It’s just like bringing a friend so you can hold their hand!
Yeah, I can't really bring a friend because most people are at work or school at that time. Second shift is good for being able to take advantage of daytime appointments, not so great for rallying moral support for those appointments.
