I wish we used the beforeharry tag to talk about the rp and the characters again because now every time I scroll through it I feel sad about nikki and what happened to her ):
First of all - sorry nonnie that this is a late response. But I know what you mean. On one hand it’s sad, for sure. There was such promise and excitement for b4hr (look at me making up weird abbreviations), and it sucks that the rp is put on hold.
What happened to Nikki is awful, you should feel sad that there are people out there who want to intentionally harm people.
However, I’m not gonna lie, when I look through the tag I am moved by the support through the community. Individuals and so many entire roleplay groups are coming together to voice how very NOT okay they are with what happened. People have been commenting about what a sad world we live in for someone to do what they did to Nikki, but I don’t think the action of one should define us. Concentrate on how numerous of users have filled pages and pages of the tag beforeharryrp with love and support. They do this just on the chance that their words can possibly be of a comfort to someone going through a tough time.
Am I sad that b4hr closed? Yeah, of course. On the other hand though, I am so so very inspired by our roleplay community. There have been so many who are trying to combat the damage a cyberbully has done with love and kind words and support and so much understanding. I am so proud of our corner of the roleplay community.

Umm… not really? Honestly, I have put no where near to the amount of effort and dedication that many mods I personally know well have. I’ve helped friends with aesthetic sides of roleplays, answered a few asks and been a sounding board but I’ve never been a great mod. I have appreciation like no other for those who have created roleplays and dedicated weeks-months working on them to even just get them started, let alone the work that it takes to run it once opened and still be able to roleplay in it while moderating is a feat of its own. Probably a bit of a mess of an answer, but what I’m trying to say is, yeah, appreciate the mods.

I saw one roleplay in particular where its members have flooded the main with praise of their mods without tragedy striking, and its so sweet and lovely and I know there are so many more mods out there who deserve the same.
Don’t waiting until tomorrow when the hateful anons come out.

Send a message on how much you appreciate them.
Tell them how amazing their group is. Talk about how welcoming they are. Send them a message on how efficiently they dealt with conflict. Or how cool their graphics are, or how much you love their bios, their plot, etc.
The tiniest bit of praise is so amazing to hear, honestly.
So yeah. Don’t forget to support your own mods. Act as if today is ‘love your mods day’. Nah, make it love your mods week, no, month. Heck, remember 2015 as love your mods year. Let more good become of this all. Let love win.

Oh no I don't know her personally, sorry if I gave you the wrong impression dear nonnie! I wish I did know her personally, she is amazing and fantastic and so sweet the few times I've talked with her and asked her questions and sent messages via her ask box. You are so so right though, NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE deserves the abuse she has gotten. It is sick, it is sad, it is so so AWFUL that someone feels the need to harm someone so cruelly. There was a post from a friend of hers that no amounts of well wishes can erase what happened to her, which is true, but I encourage anyone and everyone to sent her love if you can. Love you all. The support seen in the tags is inspiring. It is amazing. There are a few individuals who feel like they need to ruin things for others but the rest have proven how amazing the rp community can be.
