ghouls and ghosts -- the results are here and would you believe it ?? there has been a TIE. coincidentally, the angels have been on our side and structured it as a pyramid; casting one winner in first place, two winners in second place and three winners in third place so without much further ado, it is only right that i announce the WINNERS in their glory and dish out those points that were promised. let’s start off by being brutal and just announce that the person voted with the WORST costume is ... drum roll please ;; TONI ROWLAND. now that that’s over let’s crack onto the real deal so as promised, here are the RESULTS.

We will be hosting an EVENT for you all, beginning from 1st September that will last a month long in real time. How exciting !! We’re going to keep things a surprise until launch day, including mini tasks throughout to spice things up a little but we ask that you either pause or bring your current threads to an end for this event to keep the dash event orientated and not confuse threads. We will allow the first week of the event to be a ‘cooling off’ period, so if you haven’t been able to end your current thread in time, then you have the first week of the event to bring it to a close. For this event, there will be a temporary roommate swap so if you have any requests, then please send them in to the main !!

Also, if you’ve stumbled upon us in the tags, now would be the PERFECT time to apply so that you can introduce your character to the roleplay before the event. We will be keeping applications OPEN throughout however !!

Admin Sharna here and I have something pretty exciting in the works... A new team !! We're almost all put together; just waiting on a few extra bits to fall into place but hopefully by tomorrow - everybody will be savvy with the main and Brielle will jump up and be running as a fully active roleplay again !! I thank you all for your patience and your hopes in this roleplay running well. I honestly never want to see its doors close and intend on being here for as LONG as I can which kinda makes you stuck with me...

Please bare in mind with us over the next week or so, whilst everybody gets used to the main and how we operate as a roleplay but I was just so EXCITED to share the news with you !!

Oh... I almost forgot. One more surprise too !! We have one of our very own members - AMY - working on the gossip blog too when things get busy behind the scenes, which means that you will hopefully recieve and unlimited amount of sass, fire and pure AGONY from our FAVOURITE; Gossip Girl. Speaking of sass, I’m about to go and kick some ass in the restaurant at work, serving a bunch of peasants, but I will be on and doing some stuff on the main later !! Mwah. xoxo

As the Spring winds blew through the streets of Oregon, there stood a building that HAUNTED North Bend… A darkness loomed over it; grey threatening muck hovered over its architecture, and the powder-puff clouds hung limply in the sky, dancing slowly among the faint streams of sunlight. “Patient 303,” called out one of the riot officers – his voice tainted by a hoarseness from recovering a number of the patients. “You have been told that assistance is on its way – clean water and fresh supplies of food are coming. If you are THAT hungry, you’ll eat the grain bars – QUIT complaining.” The muttering of the rest of the crowd echoed eerily throughout the cafeteria, the buzzing of conversation kept peoples hearts beating… Most of the exchanged chatter wasn’t exhilarating, but a crashing wave of relief seemed to intoxicate most of Brielle’s residents… Plenty felt safe, however there were still hoards who didn’t understand what was happening. Though unfortunately, that wasn’t how everybody felt. There were boasting bandits, locked away in an office and hiding away from the dreaded thoughts of what might happen if they dared attempt an escape while things had been in lock down. Elsewhere, a runaway of renegades, refusing to reveal themselves to the riot officers, tried to find their way out of Brielle Institute and make it out in one piece.

Everybody in their own place, experiencing their own nightmares– completely OBLIVIOUS to what was about to happen. Days ago, riot officers had smashed through the front doors and stormed the reception area like a cavalry yet they couldn’t leave the exits open for any rogue patients to flee; barricading it with all of the furniture possible and jamming it through the door frame made a difficult entrance for the next person to find themselves in Brielle’s malicious halls.

Forcing their way through the doors and having to use their bodies to hoist the legs of chairs away, hacking coffee tables apart and carelessly tossing wood to the side, an unfamiliar face entered through Brielle’s doors – a crowd following closely behind: a man – in his late fifties, perhaps – silver hair that was slicked back and tucked over his scalp. The entourage that were only feet behind marched with him as though he was a GOD and they were the disciples, stepping in tune to his every move, succumbing to orders he gave and the actions he made. Men with a glimmer in their eyes, prepared to accept the next challenge – women that held ambition, fire igniting their pupils with determination. Whoever it was that was following behind the mystery man, they did not look friendly… They looked as though they were there for a reason, to fulfill a purpose. Oceans of brunette and deserts of blonde scattered through the hallways, dozens of different footsteps stampeding towards the cafeteria doors like a herd of elephants, prepped to come in and obliterate the remainder of Brielle Institute.

Every head turned and the murmurs stopped as the glistening white silhouette paved his way over the linoleum floor  – patients parting like the red sea for him and his gang that were still trailing behind – the mystery nodding to the riot officer in charge. “I trust that you have held the fort down in my absence.” His voice was gruff but steady, it was stern but reassuring... There was something so JUXTAPOSING about the man that walked through Brielle like he owned it. But nobody quite knew what it was, or WHO he was.

BRIELLE INSTITUTE - PLEASE REMAIN CALM.

Residents, whilst Brielle Instiute is being prepared for change, I would personally like to thank you all for your patience. Temporarily, the head office / main will be closed so that myself and all staff members here can do what is right for you as patients and so that we can cater for your needs. I have had a change of heart and I would like to apologise for leaving you all in the dark these past few months... Being the head of a facility is an excruciating hard job and I am writing this now, with deep regret that my time has come to an end. Head of the Institute, Doctor Anthony Holmes.

MEMBERS !! Here it is... Doctor Holmes is GONE and there is nobody to watch over Brielle. Whilst his message may seem sincere, he did not have what it takes to run a hospital - a hospital full of people who depend him. With a drop in staff members who left once they realised they weren’t going to be receiving their paycheck, the remaining staff members may be trying to keep the patients under control - but what is an asylum without a head? Brielle has gone ROGUE - patients now have unsupervised access to the following:
