So many people find my crush on Pascal Groß weird but a lot of it is down to his personality. Even though he can be a bit of a moaning bastard on the pitch I’ve never heard a bad word said about him by his team mates, coaches or even fans. It’s always what a stand up guy he is and how lovely he is as a human being. (I mean when I grabbed him at the player awards he was happy to do a selfie with me so…he’s definitely a kind hearted person who’s willing to engage with fans.)
The fact when he’s chilled he’s always smiling really shows this as well.
It’s a really attractive quality in a man actually.
Also helps he’s a fucking good footballer and watching him play is always a pleasure.

When Pascal left, I was happy for him. After 13 years in the professional game he finally got a chance to play for his boyhood club. And I was thrilled.
But Welbeck? Leaving us 3 weeks before the season starts with no striker? I just…I’m just numb.
In May he said Chelsea were our rivals. And 3 months later he’s there. All because they threw him a tonne of money and promised him something they’re unlikely to deliver on.
It’s just shown me that even the good ones can let you down.

I guess I’ve just got to focus on what will likely be the last year with this absolute legend instead. Only one of two players I can rely on, and I hope to god that remains the case throughout the rest of his career.
