Jayhan - Finalist for Tour Music Fest Switzerland

Julia Handschin - Jayhan, emerging singer-songwriter from Belmont has reached the final round of Tour Music Fest - The European Music Contest for Switzerland, the most important European contest dedicated to new, young and emerging music.

Jayhan, along with the best emerging Swiss vocalists, singer-songwriters and junior artists chosen by the official Tour Music Fest judging panel, will be amongst the protagonists of the most important European contest dedicated to emerging music, performing on November 17 in Biasca battling towards winning 10,000 euros, a scholarship to Berklee - College of Music and an international tour.

Tour Music Fest having reached this year’s 12th edition, is the European music contest dedicated to emerging artists that involves more than 28,000 artists from all over Europe. What seems to be a simple competition, is actually an incredible musical experience that encourages artists to share their music through a cultural exchange, which leads to artistic growth.

Jayhan has been selected for the “singer-songwriter” artistic category by the official Tour Music Fest judging panel.

A great result for Jayhan, who along with Tour Music Fest will be able to offer both her music and talent the possibility to go beyond country borders and finally have a European visibility.

The National Finals for Tour Music Fest Switzerland will be held in Biasca on November 17 at the Yoyo sporting center, a well known venue for unsigned artists!

From 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with free entry, we’ll be witnessing live performances from unsigned Swiss artists, for a day full of good music and artistic education. During the event there will be Tour Music Fest educational masterclasses that aim towards artistic growth at its fullest, from vocal technique to stage presence, creative writing to interpretation.

The winners for this second edition in Switzerland will get a place in the European Final in December where they will be battling it out for a for a 10,000 euro sponsorship contract, a European promotional tour and, thanks to our affiliation with Berklee - College of Music, a scholarship for a course within the Berklee - Summer Programs to be held in Boston (USA) in 2020.

Can't believe it, guys. I am sooooo SUPER EXCITED about this!

I write songs inspired by TV shows, movies, video games and books, and it's for those very reasons (with songs like Trollhunter's Serenade from Trollhunters, Sky's the Limit from Swat Kats and Beyond the Stars from Beyond Good and Evil) that I've been working really, really hard to land a gig that'd welcome someone like me, who expresses her passion for the things she loves.

WHY A MOSQUITO CAN BE FOUND ON HILLYS SO FAR AWAY FROM IT’S HOME PLANET ???

Although the multiplayer game that is Beyond Good and Evil 2 sports a single-player mode, Ubisoft has noted that it will require a constant internet connection to play, even though the devs behind the game stated they didn’t want to force people into playing online.

Of course, this opens up Beyond Good and Evil 2 to be a live-service title or one that could feature egregious microtransaction (MTX) practices. However, time will tell what Ubisoft’s plans are for Beyond Good and Evil 2 online model and if it will have controversial MTX features.

Moving on to something that is a staple in the last Beyond Good and Evil title is racing. The first installment that released during 2003 sported a race mode; back on December 23rd, 2018, a fan on Discord named Folezicle asked Ubisoft if underground cultures (such as street racing or niche music scenes), as well as nightlife, would be present in the prequel. Here was Ubisoft’s answer:

“The answer is yes: we will explore underground cultures in the game. The largest will be the one carried by Space Pirates, but also by Hybrids, who have their own beliefs and myths.”

Although the above reply indirectly answered the question, a new blog postpublished on March 13th, 2019, answers said query in full and then some:
