Ok so i read like a random chatfic a few months ago (i have no idea what it was called i could not find it i dont think i am Sorry) but cass had texted steph and was like “sorry i hallucinated another girl” and steph was just like ???

and i know it was a silly little bit but guys let’s actually get into that Because as far as i am aware. steph is the ONLY person cass has hallucinated before (i could be wrong but ??? im pretty sure???) ((excluding any like drug induced stuff like purely cass is abt to die and needs motivation hallucinations)) so i think cass would for real feel like she cheated or something lmfao. especially with the fact the whole time cass was there she was completely avoiding steph ON PURPOSE and then hallucinates another girl when she’s spiralling??? CHEATING SLUT! she would feel so guilty i’m serious.

i think as well since we don’t really know where jaya’s loyalties ACTUALLY lie (she is triple crossing people right now) there is a chance she is still definitely Using cass to a degree (despite how she may feel about her) so the concept of jaya actively trying to get cass to like her and flirting w her so she can do whatever she is trying to do once cass introduces jaya and tenji to the family and to steph and steph can Clearly tell that jaya is flirting with cass like crazy and we know that steph CAN be jealous (see darla and tim) i think she would immediately try and blow jaya up with her mind.

cass is still being kinda distant with steph because she’s still feeling guilty over hallucinating jaya while jaya continuously flirts with her in front of steph… steph starts thinking cass HAS cheated and snaps and asks her and cass is like IM SORRY I DID… and steph is like momentarily heartbroken until cass starts “we were fighting the unburied and i almost died and i was spiraling and i hallucinated jaya talking to me and saving me-“

“and you realised you loved her instead and you found her after the fight and hooked up?”

“what? no? i didn’t hook up with her? why would you think that?”

“so you just kissed is that it?”

“no of course not!”

and steph is so utterly confused because how the fuck is that cheating she asks if she hallucinated them fucking or something and cass is like No she just told me to believe in myself and steph is like ???????????????? she’s not even mad anymore just confused and cass explains she’s only ever hallucinated steph in those moments and how it’s special to her and she feels guilty and steph is like Awww wait that’s so sweet i love you and then they kiss and have lesbian sex ❤️ and steph beats up jaya or something idk the End ❤️

Alternatively stephcass aren’t ACTUALLY dating yet (beautiful lesbian situationship that makes you wanna kill yourself) and when jaya comes into the picture steph crashes out and starts dating that guy from batgirls (maps’ brother) and cass goes insane and confesses her love for steph and they get together and Heh yes steph does cheat on that guy.

i love them as friends i think they are an incredibly underrated duo but as a ship i think it actually ignores their character progression and development.

in worlds finest romance when they go out on that date they both realise by the end they prefer to just be friends and that romance isn’t what either of them are looking for. kon is like nervous/uncomfortable and doesn’t really relax at all until they’ve both agreed friends is better and cass was just lonely. she spends her nights seeing love between people (romantic, platonic and familial) and she Wants that. she KNOWS kon was interested in her so she believes she can fill that loneliness she is feeling by being with him and in the end she does actually but only AFTER they agree to be friends.

princess cass has been head over heels for knight steph for as long as she can remember because she always felt safe around him.

the princess gets betrothed to another, and that wrecks the knight, causing her to become distant because she thinks her feelings were one-sided.

but they were never one-sided 😩

stephcass being assumably one sided to me is always Soooooooo fucking good to Me… god.

Princess Cass dropping hints and trying to see if her brave knight feels the same way but she never takes the opportunity so she mustn’t love her. So Cassandra gives up and goes to her father King Bruce and finally agrees to her royal duties of marrying. The king always wanted his only daughter (and all his children) to marry for love but how but Cassandra couldn’t love anyone else but her knight and she doesn’t feel the same so what’s the point? might as well just accept the neighbouring kingdoms proposal…

Even wedded to another her brave knight stands by her side but she doesn’t sit for tea in the library anymore or sit by her bedside and chat before sleeping…

people always make shit like awww damian becoming a doctor for his grandfather (meaning thomas) while villainising talia and making her a bad mother who damian hates and is so glad to be away from… i read a fic where that was happening (bcs of the d.c.k.o knight fight issue) and it pissed me off so Bad n that’s why i made the post originally

ooo!!! that s a tough one because i’ve been reading some really good ones this year… idk if i can choose just one So i’ll say a couple…

- Absolute Wonder Woman… god it’s just WOAH. like every issue blows me away both story and art wise honestly if i had had HAD to choose one it would probably be AWW

- All-Star Batman… i originally read as apart of my duke thomas reading guide but absolutely fell in love w the writing here it’s just so fucking cool (also really fun to see snyder take things he liked from this series and just redo it in absolute batman but cranked up to 100%)

- We Are Robin… speaking Of duke thomas! man WAR Is so fucking good the multiple art styles the multiple leads each robin having their own focus but still duke at the centre he’s just such an awesome character and i love his internal dialogue in this so much he’s so funny

YURI GEM SUPER GEM ANS SO PERFECT AND BEAUTIFUL.

Cassrose is so fucking good for so many reasons dude. like first of all their similarities of being used as weapons, trained by their abusive fathers with the hopes of being turned into the best and the fact that at the end of the day despite all of that they still want to help and protect others… BUT ALSO the stark differences in their upbringings.

they can both relate to each other so much but only to a certain extent and their contrast in personalities just makes for such a brilliant and interesting dynamic.

also i think they’re hot and want to see them kiss on the lips so really it’s a perfect ship if you think about it.

okay well tbh this one doesn’t even fit them all that well lyric wise. it’s mostly the gut wrenching connell at the end and i was going through a crazy conan phase when i started this playlist BUT!!!! i very much think there could be argument for a tim angst over it…

classic tim drake angst of thinking im the worst and everything bad happens to me because i deserve it i think it would reflect very much red robin era for him when he’s at his worst. Even after kon is back tim really doesn’t register it for a while and is just in a general vibe of kon is too good for him and tim doesn’t deserve to be with him and him thinking that way is lowkey a form of self harm.
