Was watching Neil's BG3 stream where they reached that chess trial in Ansur's Lair. I myself spent like, more than half-an-hour on that place, trying all possible (as I thought) turns and then simply noticing the hitbar on king's figure and going mad after realizing that I could simply destroy it with ma hammer and complete the trial. So I was sitting there, screaming at my screen that no Neil you don't need to move figures you can simply destroy the figure Neil no Neil NEEEIL- I was absolutely sure that there are no chess solution. Turns out there were, and Neil neiled it. Turns out you could even call Gale and he would tell you that exact solution. I guess it's no wonder my main hero has a barbarian subclass after all. *goes smashing things with hammer again*
