Ice Cube's Excruciating Fan Club art for the Post TPOT AU
Lyrics are from Butcher's Vanity because I was listening to it while drawing this and the song suited Deadly as they're depicted in the AU very much. Fun fact: The amount and shape of the cuffs shows how highly Deadly thinks of each character in the team (minus Tisha', who is currently escaping). I'm sure you can guess who his favorite is :)

POST TPOT AU: SAPPHIRE
Why is she melting? Blame Deadly
Lore: After Sapphire was left to die by Deadly (who would've saved her if Ice Cube didn't say that Deadly didn't know how to feel remorse... he does, and he kind of regrets abandoning Sapphire), she was promptly eliminated by the spirit possessing Snobal. The elimination zone was, after that, revealed to be the Darkest Side of the Moon, where dark energy vibrates and corrodes. Any who are recovered within the Darkest Side will forever have physical features resembling how they died. Sapphire dissolved in the blood of acid bugs, so she thus was left half-molten by the recovery process.
It was originally believed that this would be reversed when Snobal was exorcised, but unfortunately, this wasn't the case. Sapphire is stuck forever half-melty no matter what she tries. However, she doesn't blame Deadly at all. Actually, she probably forgot that he's partially the reason why she's like this, and, since she's distracted with hosting tea parties at weird times, she'll probably never realize.
POST TPOT AU: AQUAMARINE
Her greyish arms are actually prosthetics!
Aquamarine is the musician of the group, and her upgrade shows it! When she was hit by the Enhancement L-Yoy-Ser, she acquired two markings that resemble music notes along with the rest of her physical changes. When the two notes are played on a piano, then used to segway into another song, the song will be able to make anyone fall asleep once it’s finished. This power is mostly used by Aquamarine and Pan Flute to keep the newly-rebuilt auditorium quiet should the audience start being weird.
Aquamarine, due to being really, really good at music stuff, has become an honorary music teacher at the hotel. She works with Foldy since they both teach stuff, even if one just teaches how to play a recorder and the other teaches how to kill a man in five seconds using only breathing techniques, and they get along quite well, all things considered.
Aquamarine was the one to tell Freesmart about the shenanigans Ruby’s siblings were getting up to during BFDIA, since the group somehow had not figured it out now despite it having been years since that season.
POST TPOT AU: AMETHYST
She is shooketh, that's for sure
Lore: Amethyst is… mostly the same, still. While she does have trauma from witnessing the horrors of the apocalypse, she remains pretty clueless if incredibly rude at times due to her competitive nature. Becoming a biblically accurate amethyst does have its downsides, as while she is really spiky and pretty now, she is also more fragile than before since her spikes can be snapped off by pretty much anyone trying hard enough. Thankfully, she can regenerate them over time, but that usually takes about a month at least, so she prefers not to have to go through that long tedious process just to get her spines back and thus tries to keep them from being broken. This is a bit more difficult than it sounds since, as I previously mentioned, she is incredibly competitive.
Amethyst’s favorite pastimes, since the recovery centers no longer work, are playing Mario Kart and ruining her friendships with boardgames and stupid questions. She is not invited to Freesmart boardgame night because of this. And also because she has tried to steal Ruby’s diary on multiple occasions out of curiosity and refused to stop being nosy so eventually Pencil had to do something about it.
POST TPOT AU: AMBER
Pretty sure they made a cameo in Triassic Zoo once
Lore: Sometime during the apocalypse in TPOT, Ruby’s siblings (it was originally sisters but several of them turned out to not be cis) discovered the portable Enhancement L-Yoy-Ser and used it on each other before inevitably breaking it. This caused them all to actually resemble the things that they are, and also slightly altered their personalities. Amber, for example, became a piece of amber, though with no bugs inside of them. However, they appeared to gain an appetite for insects and an immunity to Bug poison in response to this. Do not leave them near any type of insect or that insect will get eaten immediately. Whatever they devour will, typically for a week, appear stuck inside of them, sometimes looking much smaller than it actually is. This can be observed whenever they eat a Mutant Bug.
Amber has thankfully retained their eccentric personality, as first seen when they manage to tame the Oneragon, bonding with it via making fun of the Cloud Troopers from the hit movie Galaxy Stores because their aim sucks, and later seen again when they try to hug Deadly (and later regret it).

They will be getting complete redesigns by the way (yes including Sapphire since I have now decided she can shift between her two forms thanks to the dark side of the moon's effects) since they're all recolored versions of Ruby's asset and I thought this would be a fun project :D
POST TPOT AU: GLASS
The little creature he has, Jeremy, was originally supposed to be caution tape, but I failed at drawing it properly, so now we have a little bug guy instead.
Lore: Glass is the fragile one, both literally and metaphorically. At the start of the apocalypse, he damaged himself while running from mutant bushes, and lost a chunk of his leg as well from his escape attempt, though it wasn’t in vain. Some time after Ammolite left to find Sapphire, he found a small, yellow, snake-like insectoid hatchling, which he adopted and named Jeremy. He loves that weird creepy squirmy thing more than he loves his family!
Glass, at some point, became the leader of Ruby’s siblings, though it’s left unclear as to how he achieved this. Whatever he did to get to this point did apparently involve overthrowing Diamond and beating the heck out of someone, but other than that, he refuses to talk about it, as do his siblings. He doesn’t like conflict most of the time, but once he’s in a fighting mood, you better watch out. After all… if he’s going down, he’s going down fighting and he plans on taking his attackers down with him!
POST TPOT AU: GARNET
As it turns out, I'm not good at drawing shiny minerals
Lore: Garnet has, apparently, become a cosplayer of the Garnet from Steven Universe. However, she cannot really be considered one since the only thing she wears to cosplay her hero is a pair of purple sunglasses. Don’t tell her this, though, since she will probably start crying if you say that to her and then she’ll shove you into the lava pit inside the Bughive that she and her siblings live in. She attempted to do this to MePhone4 at some point, though she failed as she was pulled away from him by Feldspar and was then sent to the Calm Down Pitcher Plant Chamber (a chamber full of pitcher plants where you must sit and reflect on your misdeeds). Garnet, shockingly, was the one who trekked out into the forest to help Ruby find Pencil after seeing the broadcast of TPOT 21 on TV. She faced her fears, even though she knew what she was putting at risk, all for Freesmart. Attagirl.
