so i’ve been called ‘real life peter parker’ on here many times (which is silly, like shhh you guys <3). but i’m starting to believe i actually am; only because of the following 4 weeks! i managed to nab a slot (the program only was accepting 10 students state wide and BAM i got a spot!) in a summer internship for computer sciences! like wowzer, i’m super excited [and nervous ;;] and ahhh i’m going to have so much fun nerding it out and getting further in touch with my peter-side. 

of course, i’ll be staying the entire 4 weeks at the college and though i have plenty of internet access (they assured me) i don’t know if i’ll have a whole lot of time off from work to log on often! [when we’re not working, we’re actually going to be doing social things??? scary].

so, though i’m hoping it’s only a semi-hiatus so i can get on in the nights and do things, i’m calling this a hiatus-hiatus just in case.

And I just came across this song, had it on trying to reply to something of ours on here, and I got a complete opposite image in my head then what's supposed to be going on in my reply. But damn, I love this so much like just, listen to the song and tell me this isn't what you see:

There's a big yellow jeep, the black top of the roof completely taken off. Hair is blowing in the wind, both Kailee's and Peter's. The radio's on, blasting whatever summer-fun song was being played on the station. The sun beat down on their shoulders. The road stretched before them, endlessly. And seen between the few trees that speckled the right side of the road was an expansive crystal-clear lake & sandy beach. Laughter bubbles up from the jeep between beats in the music from the radio, jokes and flirtatious remarks resting upon both of the young adult's lips. And for once, all their cares have been tossed away into the wind. They were actually truly and 100% happy just being in eachother's company. Gong wherever the road took them.

Like just ughhhh road trip thread would be so much fun.

Them resting on a beach, talking about the simple things. Running through the waves. Peter picking up Kai and throwing her into the water playfully. Them searching for sea-shells and building castles. It raining and them holding up his jacket over their heads and making a bee-line for the jeep to put the cover back on it and get outta the rain. 

And then they're off to the next destination.
