This is a really tough question, but I would probably say spectrums of blue, like teal, blue, navy, etc. I feel like I would still be able to distinguish things without getting sick of seeing the same color.
2. If you could instantaneously learn a new language, any language, what would it be? Why?
Korean, hands down. Mainly because I’m trying to learn it right now and it’s pretty difficult for me because I only speak English. Although, I would like to learn Chinese or Japanese as well, anything with characters, because I think the language is beautiful to speak and write and because I want to live in East Asia one day.
3. Tell me five positive things about yourself, please.
Ugh this is a hard one for me to do rn. 1. I have a pretty impressive and wide-array taste in music, like not bragging, but I listen to good music. 2. I have an uncanny amount of pop culture knowledge in my head. 3. I apparently have an ability to converse with people easily and make them feel comfortable talking to me? I don’t always like talking to new people, but I can do it if need be. 4. I also tend to make friends easily, I don’t necessarily keep them or get really close to them, but I make friend easily so I tend to have a large group of friends. 5. I don’t mind acting like a complete fool in front of people, I don’t get embarrassed easily.
4. Is there any book that made you go “Man, I wish I’d come up with this first”? If so, which one?
I think that books written in diary styles tend to make me think that, like I wish I could write a diary memoir that would do really well without stealing another author’s writing style. Does that make sense?
5. If you could have anything in the world, what would you choose?
Rn I would say peace of mind, or happiness. As corny as that may sound, that is what I need the most rn, or money/food/coffee.
6. What was the last thing that made you laugh?
I watched Running Man last night and that always cracks me up.
7. Did you learn anything new these past weeks? What was it?
I’ve been learning new stuff everyday these past couple of weeks. Mainly because I’m doing stuff for school. Particularly I’ve learned a lot of Seoul because I’m writing about it for my Urban Society class which has lead me to want to continue studying Urban Sociology or East Asian Sociology.
8. Favorite song to sing when you’re in a silly mood?
Anything from Relient K’s first three albums hands down, or Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long blog or anything from Mulan
9. If you had to choose a planet to move to, which one would you choose? Why?
I would honestly stay here on Earth because I love it here and yes it is a mess and yes it’s very broken, but it is so beautiful here.
10. Do you usually play it safe or take risks?
It honestly depends on the situation. Recently I would say I play it safe in most aspects of my life because I’m dealing with a lot mentally rn.
11. If you could be another person for a day, who would you be and why?
I would want to be a better version of myself. Like the version of myself I often wish I was.
