"Whatever shape we are, it’s up to us to find the space we fit, and fill it. It’s okay to be unclear. It’s okay to be unsure. It’s okay to be uncomfortable. We’re all just figuring it out as we go along.

My hope for the next generation of queer folk is that they live their lives as authentically as possible. The good, the bad, the messy, the fun, the scary, the confusing, the euphoric, the UNIQUE.

We have a ways to go before that is a safe possibility throughout the country. But that should not eclipse the progress that has been made."
