“is it always this sunny here?” her eyes were turned up towards the clear blue sky, finding it strange and a little too bright after a lifetime of overcast on the isle. it was nothing but grey back home. “i can practically feel myself baking.” all the leather and layers she wore weren’t helping matters. 

“Anywhere, Ben! Just away from here! No more duties, no more pressure. Just... let’s just get out of here.”

“There’s an old man sitting on the throne that’s saying that I probably shouldn’t be so mean.”

“She spelled you and you stayed with her. I’ll..never understand the thought behind that. If she LOVED you, she wouldn’t have done it. And TWICE even.” To say that Evie was disappointed was an understatement. 

               ❛ do you ever think about what might have happened if things hadn’t worked out the way they did  ? ❜       it’s just a quiet, curious musing.    a wandering thought really,   as evie lifts her gaze from her sketchpad to look at him with the slightest tip of her head.
