“Well, alright, Mister Scrooge,” Becky teased as she finished spreading the branches on their Christmas tree. She laughed to herself when she saw her fiance struggling with the Christmas lights. “Do you want me to work on these while you get the ornaments from the basement?” The flame haired woman offered, sitting on the couch next to Colby. “Cause babe, call me crazy, but I think yer takin’ a long time to untangle the lights because you don’t wanna decorate the tree.”

“You said we could get another dog if we did good at Mania. I’m waiting for my pug, mister.”

A sleepy smile graced the Irishwoman’s features as she looked over at her husband’s. “Me, too.” Becky yawned, using her free hand to rub the sleep out of her eyes. She couldn’t remember the last time the two of them had a day where they had absolutely no commitments or prior engagements, and just spent the day in bed. “Do we have anythin’ goin’ on today?” Becky mumbled quietly.

With everything going on, it was best to just have a small celebration for Kelly’s birthday. So, she had invited Becky over for some cake and just to spend time in general with each other. Since being on R/aw, Kelly had gotten close to Becky and learned from her, taking in everything she could and a friendship stared to come from it. “To getting older and starting anew,” she teased as she held up a cupcake for a toast. “It’s going to be weird not seeing you backstage for a bit.”

Becky rolled her eyes, still smiling gently at Allen’s words. If she were being honest, Becky wouldn’t care where they were eating-- hell, they could be having leftover pizza on the couch in day old pajamas. As long as she was with her husband, she didn’t care. “As good lookin’ and tastin’ as that chicken cordon bleu is going to be, it’s not nearly as appetizin’ as my husband.” Becky winked, taking a sip from her wine glass. She reached across the table and grabbed Allen’s hand, running her thumb over the thin gold circle that was his wedding band. “I love you.”
