#BEwrites ... Hmmmm. Now this one could go in a myriad of directions. But if you've been reading along for the month, as much as I could FOCUS on 'they' and 'them', I'm wise enough to know, I have no control over the asylum. My personal goal in this post is simply to underscore that most things that distract us on our personal journeys, especially when seen in the rearview of our minds, were UNNECESSARY. Even those things that became all consuming and led me to behave more responsibly, in their initial encounter, required a Focus and a Choice and I often think how a simple 'no' in key moments in my past could have eliminated whole chapters in my life story. So I say to myself, now, it's never too late to course correct. Without explanation or argument, it's time to trust my instinct more than I have in the past and now, more than ever, it's time to VALUE MY TIME. It could make for an even lonelier journey, or that renewed inner focus could be the companion I've been in search of most of my adult life.
