Long story short, there’s this old, mostly forgotten Stranger that @altamaranempire​ and I just kinda adopted and I end up drawing them a lot when I’m feeling bad or Very Dumb, Tired, and Unintelligent. The rough lore for them is that they’re a 2D Stranger that compels you to draw them, and that’s the way they multiply and spread. Barely matters if they’re drawn WELL - just that they’re drawn with their signature butt stripes, eyes, and at least four legs. I think it’s fun to use these rules as a fun reason to experiment with their other aspects, such as exact color, drawing medium, and leg count/exact anatomy.
They also occasionally serve as guinea pigs for art experimentation and style tests, as shown in these examples! Even the really silly “bad” bevis underneath the purdy shaded ones ended up being a way for me to practice super quick coloring and making my sketch lines pop better.
