So basically when she died her colors were very dull and dark showing lots of deep trauma as well as physical wounds and other
Notice how her eyes have no sparkle and are very dull and dark as is the rest of her color pallet

As we can see here with her first animtronic body her colors have gotten very vibrant (i may redesign it to show these big changes more) and her eyes have taken a drastic change in hue and shade and have gained lots of sparkle
But there's no resemblance of the human little girl she once was
Now shes only an animatronic
Played with the kids and a became her sun and moons doll basically
Not a girl
Not anything
Especially after she meets her eclipse and her dads again
Shes basically a doll, something to be used and toyed around with, no real feelings
Then she meets eclipse
And
Shes treated as an actual human CHILD again
Shes a girl
A little girl
And thats actually ACKNOWLEDGED.
It is not something to be ignored.
But a fact.
A fact known.
And treated as nothing but truth that shouldn't be ignored.
For a time bethy so desperately tried to forget her human family and her old metal one
Forgot what she once was
But after she returns back home
Shes acknowledged what she once was, what she became, and what she is now
And what she continued to and will always be
A little girl.
So now?
Her body reflects that
Her hair is brown again, a nod to show that she is human but lighter to show that she's in a better place than she was when she was living
It isnt matted like when she was a ghost but its still fluffy to show how shes better now
Her eyes aren't dull and dark anymore to show horrid circumstances but aren't extremely light to reveal love bombing and fake adoration but a mix

To show how shes accepted what she was before but happier now that shes somewhere different

And she has her sparkle back
Not as much
To show she went through more trauma
But she isn't completely drowning in it
And her lighter color pallette to show happiness and not depression

Okay soooooooooo, to get started this first one is with the ever adorable, baby Bethy and her big sister Star!
Tis very cute! Look at the little sisters just sleeping! Or Bethy sleeping and Star is keeping a close eye on her! They just had some desert for snacks and are resting now! Sun got to dress them both up in pretty dresses!
The next one is with Shieto and Star, and I tried VERY hard to keep as close to Shieto's design because she is a VERY UNIQUE AND PRETTY! But the picrew had limited options...so GO CHECK OUT RANDOM TAIL'S DESGIN ON THEIR BLOG! GO SEE HOW PRETTY SHIETO IS!!!

Ta-da! This one is after escaping Moon's schooling, hence why Star is in her mage attire. I REALLY wanted to get Shieto's eyes right but...the picrew didn't allow me...so, I am sorry.
Welp! This is it! My first technically, fanart of these two amazing characters that have made me consider writing a separate fic for these sisters! (and tbh i will probably write something in the future for them!)

Bethy watches from the stand with a face stained with the sticky sweet sauce of one of the many cinnamon buns Star had brought earlier to keep her entertained.
Star, however was in the middle of a sparing match with Shieto...and was loosing.
"Keep up!" Shieto orders, swinging her right fist into Star's side and practically sending the princess into the closest wall. "Don't leave yourself open!"
Star grunts in pain and gets back to her feet with a few stumbles, "Aren't you getting tired? We've been doing this for hours--,"
"Less talk, more fighting!" Shieto charges again and rears back her fist.
This time Star dodges but doesn't see the foot coming her way. She is sent back into the wall and the air gets knocked out of her.
Bethy yelps and sets her treat down to rush into the arena and over to Star, "Sister!!"
Shieto rolls her eyes and crosses her arms, "Guess we'll call it a day...Do better next time..."
Star smiles despite the pain, "I promise. Want to try to pummel you into the ground one of these days.
Shieto barks out a laugh, "HA! You can try, toothpick."
"Sissy is not a toothpick!" Bethy puffs out her cheeks and stomps up to Shieto. The small girl starts "punching" the older being's legs. Not really doing anything but Star was touched my the gesture.
Shieto simply lifts her cloth covered foot and presses the tip to Bethy's head and pushing her away from her person. "Ahuh...sure kid."
"Leave her alone, boss." Star rolls her eyes and gets to her feet, "She's simply trying to protect me--,"
"She's doing a terrible job. She should try to better her stance and put more force into her hits--,"
"WHAT. IN THE WORLD. IS GOING ON HERE?!"
All three girls flinch and look towards the entrance of the arena, finding Sun standing there with Moon walking up behind him, eyes wide.
"Shit." Shieto is already turning tail and running away.
Bethy gasps and goes to scold Shieto but only yelps when Star scoops her up with her mana and runs away as well.
Sun starts after the three, "YOU ALL GET BACK HERE YOUNG LADIES!!!"
"Uh-oh! Daddy is mad!"
"I can see that sis!" Star chuckles, "SHIETO!!"
"LAST I CHECKED!" Shieto reaches the tree line for the royal forest and quickly climbs up on and starts running across the branches, "HE'S NOT MY CRACKED FATHER!!!"
"Jerk!" Both Star and Bethy shout back, though both having different meanings.
Sun continues to rush after the three and Star pushes forward with Bethy by using her mana.
This goes on for the rest of the afternoon, until Moon sent for Eclipse and he caught Star and Bethy in his wolf form...then a very angry Shieto.

1 I'm curious if yn and Bethy would share a room with yn or if she'd get her own room. Bethy totally wouldn't mind sharing a room with her bestest big sissy ever (her words) but wouldn't want to be a nuisance. I do wonder if the dads would want them to share a room since she could protect Bethy and they'd both be in one place (and maybe yn won't try to escape if Bethy's there)
2! Bethy totally views yn as her cool and RLLY nice big sissy. But she tries her absolute best to not be a nuisance because she doesn't want that kindness to run out (AGAIN WHEN I CATCH U BETHY'S SUN N MOON WHEN I CATCH YOU-) but she will totally follow yn around like a lost puppy (eclipse too), picking up her stuttering habit, and holding her hand constantly and wanting to play with her all the time and always be around her. And basically being a little sister to her (and maybe making her feel a tad less lonely since her village sibs aren't here aww 😭😭)
And always wanting to sit as near to eclipse and yn at meal time as possible and Eclipse prolly held her in his lap once and the next meal she kept sneaking glances at him until he took her into his lap again and she was THE HAPPIEST LIL THING EVER 😭😭
and now eclipse does that every meal! :3
Cue the dads sneaking jealous glares at whoever got to hold her in his lap at meal time but not arguing or yelling cuz their terrified of ruining her trust and comfort with Sun n moon progress- xD
If any of them had an even SLIGHTLY displeased tone with her or argued in earshot she'd start shaking and crying

Star holds Bethy close to her chest as she enters their room. The three idiots were fighting again, just like old times. But it was for a good reason...Bethy's parents...
Needless to say, Star and her so called parents had made a truce with one another.
But now, Star needed to get Bethy calm enough for bed. She sets her little sis down on the bed before heading to the wardrobe. "Want to try a new nightgown? Sun said he got you some new ones--,"
Bethy flinches at the name and Star is quick to shut the wardrobe. "Oookay...Uhm...I have some of MY old pjs...want to try those?"
Bethy sniffles and nods her head while she rubs the tears away from her eyes. Star sighs and heads back to the bed, pulling out a large wooden chest. The little pink girl sniffs again as she peaks over the edge of the bed, wanting to see what her older sis was doing.
Star unlocks the chest and digs through it. She sighs as she pulls out a strange outfit, glaring at it, "We meet again...cursed thing..."
Star softens her gaze when she looks back at Bethy, "This should look cuter on you then it did me."
Bethy tilts her head as she takes the outfit and Star closes the chest, sliding it back under the bed.
Star grunts softly as she picks up Bethy and sets her on the ground, "Go head on to the bathroom. Brush your teeth and hair, clean your face with some warm water, and get changed...and go to the potty one last time."
Bethy shifts on her feet, looking up at Star with hopeful eyes.
Star sighs and nods, "I'll read you that creature book I bought earlier. Just don't tell Big Cockroach, okay?
Bethy giggles, nodding as she rushes into the bathroom. She closes the door with a small click and Star takes the time to start getting herself ready for bed.
***Later***
Star comes out of the bathroom, blowing out teh candles and heading to the bed. She laughs as she sees Bethy's small form waiting for her next to the bookshelves.
Star's old outfit fitting her perfectly. It was a white plush dress with long drooping sleeves. Attached to the back was a large hood with long bunny ears attached to it. So when the hood was up, as Bethy had it over her head, the ears drooped along the sides of her head.
And with her hands buried in the sleeves, she looked like a small bunny who had just pet its own nose. She smiles when she sees her big sister, bouncing on her toes as she points to one of the books on the top shelf.
The shelf that had all of Star's adult books that Bethy really didn't need to see. Some with very rough action scenes, bad words, or...suggestive things... But others were schoolbooks or academic journals. Like the new creature encyclopedia Moon had bought Star when they went out earlier this week.
Bethy has been wanting Star to read it to her for days. So it was no surprise to Star when she took the book off the shelf and handed it to Bethy that the little girl bolted to the bed once she had it in her hands.
Star chuckles as she rushes after her, jumping on the bed and making her little sister giggle as she goes up into the air a little bit.
When she comes down back, Star pulls her closer to her and pulls the covers over them both. She opens the book and starts reading as Bethy gets comfortable, grabbing her plush bunny, Martha and hugging her tightly as she lays on her side to listen to Star and to look at all the pictures.
***later***
Moon chuckles with Sun as they walk into their daughter's room. The girls had both fallen asleep, Bethy holding Star close with one hand while the other holds Martha's ear. One leg was over Star's torso and the other was hanging off the edge of the bed. Her mouth open as she slobbers and snoozes.
Star was using the headboard as a pillow, still in a sitting position. Her hands limp around the pages of her new book, one that Moon recognizes.
Sun takes the book from Star's hands, placing a kiss on her forehead and one on Bethy's cheek. Laughing quietly when they both groan in their sleep and curl towards one another.
Moon rolls his eyes playfully, moving his two daughters in a more comfortable position. Star was now laying down on her stomach, a pillow under her stomach while Bethy lays on her back, free hand now clutching one of Star's fingers. In her sleep she moves closer to Star with a small yawn.
Sun clutches the spot above where a human heart would be on his chest. His rays spinning rapidly at the adorableness that were his little babies.
Moon chuckles, holding up a finger to his lips. Sun nods and walks out of the room while blowing his girls one last kiss. Moon shakes his head in amusement before kissing Star's cheek and Bethy's nose.
He blows out the candle next to the bed and walks out of the room. He closes the door, letting the glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling act as a nightlight.
The funny thing is the most defiance they gonna get is this
Eclipse: come on little comet it's time to go home..
Bethy: no! *Hugs playground pole* I don't wanna go home! I wanna stay and play! A-And what if we don't come back..?
Eclipse: Honey of course we will but we need to leave nicely to be able to come back okay? And we need to go home so we can have.. tomato soup for dinner?
Bethy: We are?
Eclipse:mhm
Bethy: ..okay *takes Eclipse's hand*
That's it. Literally. And this only happens once she gets very comfortable with them to ever tell them no.
BWHAHAHA SHES SUCH A GOOD KID I CANT 😭😭
For the longest time she'd never do this cuz she's terrified they'll snap off her arm or something like her bio dad 😀
