OKAY, SO, Qilby traveled among different galaxies around the Infinite; his species is known to wander alongside comets through different worlds and it turns out that he encountered one of the many Counts of those planets. He found it very curious how much the Count had for a mere mortal who inhabited the planet Gaia, and he thought it was amusing to go into that place and get to know it.
He managed to take the form of a simple bat chimera and immersed himself in the capital of Terra, Romance, where he managed to settle into an apartment to begin experiencing "the boring life of mortals", earning a PhD, a master's degree and even being the founder of a huge library (too much free time, according to his cosmic lifestyle).
He lived the life of any mortal, at night he entered the dreams to meet all those useless living beings until he came to the dreams of a special chimera; that ringtail cat chimera used to have the most outlandish dreams he'd ever seen, but what caught his attention the most was the number of times she'd reached the Nebula Dimension (Qilby's home) in her dreams.
By day, from time to time Qilby searched for her among the mortals around Romance, but as fate would have it, she herself entered Qilby's library, and began to interact more and more. Of course, she had no idea that the man she dreamed of was the same one she shared words with in the library, but she was equally drawn to both of them.
