#challengeaccepted started in 2016.... it started as something very dark. It has evolved to something different. Yes....maybes it’s not the same as it was initially but look at what it’s become. Look at how many women are now bringing this to light. Whether or not done in a “proper” way....Sharing for empowerment or for an initial cause. All of it has VALUE! All of it. Sharing love, spreading awareness, empowering people through whatever means necessary is the point. Interesting how the black and white photos have now taken off to trending on Instagram whereas years earlier it did not... specifically for empowerment. Maybe it’s a clear message that this is exactly what women need. In order to get Femicide in Turkey a spotlight issue perhaps womens empowerment will guide it. Stop putting up walls/differences or reasons to bring negativity to women who already experience a tremendous amount already. Shaming people or saying people are not doing things right gets no where! AT ALL. Men do enough of that shit to women and so do other womento other women. Women need to rise above this level of destruction and Look at the good. This trending is bringing what’s going on in Turkey to light. So embrace it, love it, cherish it. It might not have evolved in a straight line... but it evolved in its own journey.
