This year I began learning the ins & outs of broadcast equipment under the guidance of award-winning videographer Bethany Swain. Bethany is tough, experienced and willing to embrace the creativity of her students, which has ultimately led me to fall in love with video more than I though I ever thought I could.

This video on local artist Rachel Pfeffer was shot in a few hours, edited in half a day and posted by me and my two classmates for our first video package project. I always want to make sure that I connect my classwork to the "real" world and real work-- thus attracting me to the idea of recording the artists of Monroe Street Market where my studio is located.

While artist Marcella Kriebel is currently in Cuba, we managed to get together for an hour to start working on a video of her as well.
