How is this challenge going? Do you think you’ll go ahead with the plan to make this a recurring thing? Because I somehow haven’t managed to read even a single book yet all month, so I don’t think I’ll be able to take part this time… :/ But I love this idea so much, so I’d be thrilled to have a go some months from now!
I’ll tell you a secret - I’ve only read maybe 50 pages of my current read (a highly anticipated May new release and sequel to a favorite series that I’ve been working on for like over a month?) and only just read a graphic novel Saturday evening. So I’m not faring much better lol. That’s okay! Sometimes it just isn’t a reading time! (I’ve spent a lot of time catching up on Critical Role and working on actual D&D stuff because I kinda have a one track mind.)
Yes there will absolutely be a next time. I run programming for a library irl and I am a big proponent of consistency because people learn about it at different times and then are able to plan for it because they know to expect it. @relevy and I haven’t discussed when we want the next session to be (I’m thinking late winter after the holidays or spring - I also haven’t run a second round of the Bookwyrm Readathon and I still wanna do that at some point lol), but there will be at least a couple more before deciding the future of this readathon.
That said, there are still a few weeks in this month! There’s even a while weekend! End of summer can be busy and there may be other exciting and/or relaxing things to do, but don’t give up before the end. (You’re character almost positively wouldn’t!)

i hate exam season, i had quite possibly the worst engineering exam, and then i was told i cant get a satisfactory in my literature class, so i now have to write half an essay by monday, on top of studying for my final exam, which is also on monday
but other than that ive been great
i cant wait for it to all be done
anyway, traing for the apprentices was meant to start on monday, but im letting you know, @yourlocalavian, @lunathetunaaa and @robbinbobbyn, training will start on tuesday instead

they were low voltage don’t worry, it’s cos my school was on old farm land, so the neighbouring paddock had low voltage electric fence cos they rotated sheep through it it was very low voltage, basically felt like a high static shock when u jump around on a trampoline for too long, you know?
