I love Beth Anne so much! She's so calculated and empathetic and just down right adorable! Definitely my favorite plot in the whole show though Simone and Karl come in close second

Several years ago, their daughter died in an accident. Despite the fact that Beth Ann is friendly and constantly smiling, she takes this event very hard. In the first episodes, she finds out about Rob's betrayal and tries to get her husband back by making friends with his mistress.

As the series progresses, Beth Ann reveals herself as a smart, active, talented woman, capable of sympathy and empathy even for her rival.

By the end of the series, Beth Ann ceases to be a "convenient" woman. She starts singing again, makes friends, takes her life into her own hands and does not allow herself to be manipulated. This transformation is also reflected in her appearance: the faded, washed-out colors of her clothes are replaced by bright ones, in which it is difficult to get lost in the crowd.
