I’m not someone you’d turn to get cooking advice.  I look like I know my way around the kitchen.  (I do when it comes to scooping ice cream or pulling pizza rolls out of the oven.) But I don’t cook.  Ask my children?  They claim my cooking could cause a prison riot.  Had a stranger stop me at the store and ask if I knew how to make Macaroni Soup?  I said I know you need macaroni, tomatoes and I believe some throw hamburger in it.  I said when in doubt Google it.  He said thank you and moved on.  I wish I would have had a special dish I could have shared with him.  Perhaps my grandmothers special “Turkey Neck Gravy”. Okay, I don't have the useful culinary knowledge some need, but I did learn something the other day that totally surprised me.  This woman claims men who have pierced ears are better prepared for marriage.  I just don’t know if I believe it?  I haven’t had time to ask women I know if they agree with this or not?  I do believe if a man wears earrings it does show he knows how to purchase jewelry.  (That’s a positive thing for a woman to know.) Getting the ears pierced is painful, so I guess it shows he’s prepared for the pain a wife can cause from time to time. (No making faces to that comment ladies.) These are just observations on my part.  I hope an actor in Hollywood is asked about this earring thing?  As we know they’re all experts on Politics, Guns, and Marriage.
