i stopped by hilary's house in the morning to get norwegian wood before getting dropped off in downtown. i walked to do-rite donuts without the gps, and i made it! :) woo! maybe i'm finally getting to know the area better. i waited in the morning line and ordered half a dozen donuts. i got lemon buttermilk, carrot cake, apple fritter, nutella, pistachio lemon, and vegan maple chai. i walked to sharp to stop by stephanie's class and give her one. she took the pistachio one. then i took the orange line down to 35th/archer. i thought darien told me to walk to 35th street so as i was looking at my phone's gps, i walked right into a tree branch...gg me. luckily, i don't think anyone saw that and then darien called and i saw him parked in the unique thrift store's parking lot. we drove to jazzy bean cafe only to find out that it was permanently closed. it was sad because it was darien's idea to go, and he never makes plans. ever. apparently, when he does, the plans don't work anyway. :P

i was greeted by darien's pets when i entered his house. they're all pretty nice, tbh. minnie was in her cage and kept barking at me, but dassit. it wasn't as scary as it is with yuki T_T max is a big dog, but he's pretty gentle. ^^ i was also greeted by darien's cat, boey. boey is so cute. hehe. we watched some episodes of "let's eat", "daily lives of high school boys", and some youtube videos. darien fell asleep twice, LOL. it's okay because he has allergies and we weren't really doing anything. we ate some of the donuts while watching, and i think my favorite was the apple fritter. some time during the day, he punctured my finger so i could finally know what blood type i am. it turns out that i'm o+ (my mom told me that i wasn't this though), but i dunno if the kit is 100% legit. for now i'll be o+. :) we ate some ramen and also finally watched "5 centimeters per second" together. he said he thought it would be worse.

i also fell asleep for a bit because he was asleep. =.= i slept on the desk doe, ahha. we talked every now and then about random things and we also did somewhat of a gift exchange? i gave him vick's vapor rub (because he is dying from congestion) and a copy of norwegian wood (because it's one of his favorite books). he got me the blood testing kit for my birthday. yeeeyyy! haha. throughout the day, he injured me three times. i'm slightly scared to play bother him now because darien actually hits girls (or just me). LOL. one of the times was when he had to draw my blood (not necessarily his fault), but the other times were done because he's a super mean person. D: jerk. minnie came into the room and i played with her for a bit. my contacts were getting super dry and i was getting tired so darien drove me home. i spent 12+ hours with him today doing absolutely nothing, hahahaha.

doing nothing is pretty exhausting. i was also really dehydrated so i showered and then chugged water before i went to sleep at 1 AM. today was a well-spent day off with my bestg. i actually managed to have a relaxing day. thanks for everything, durian. ^^

buying breakfast treats for people. i think those are the nicest gifts because most people aren't happy early birds, so when you get them a little something special in the morning, it just makes them feel really good about the day ahead.

the comfort of animals. i wouldn't have guessed that i would be an animal person, but they're so comforting to me now. akfnsdkf.
