So, 6 days of vacation has passed, and I've managed my goal of a year's supply of jam. I've picked berries, made jam and canned it, and now I feel really accomplished.
Also, look how pretty it is, all red and yummy :)

I did pick some berries and made a couple of small blueberry crumbles - one for eating, and two to pop in the freezer for winter days when a memory of summer is just the right treat.

When I was at school, yes, constantly. One of the times I’ve laughed hardest in my life was due to note-passing but annoyingly it does not translate at all well into anecdote. And also it makes me sound horrible (because I was).
