When he came back, Kai was wrapped in his towel, sitting on the edge of the tub and just staring at the ground. Lloyd walked up to him and reached out to touch his shoulder, but was greeted by being tripped- Kai swept Lloyd's legs out from under him and pushed him down to the floor by his shoulder, dropping his towel in the process.

Lloyd flushed red, putting his hands up in surrender as Kai's hair dripped onto the floor beneath him. "Sorry! I didn't mean to scare you." Kai remained on top of him for a moment, breathing heavily. His body radiated warmth, and Lloyd could feel it through the fabric of his gi. Kai's legs were on either side of his own. Bathing him was one thing, but having Kai fully naked on top of him made something in Lloyd's stomach twist. He knew what the feeling was, obviously, he wasn't a kid anymore, but he also knew he shouldn't be thinking about Kai like that. He practically raised him.

Forcing the thoughts away, Lloyd said, "Uh. Kai? Can you let me up?"

Kai blinked, coming out of whatever had made him push Lloyd down like that, and sat up. "Sorry."

"It's alright. I get it." He smiled, holding up the shirt he had grabbed. "Do you want me to wrap your hair for you, or can you do it yourself?"
