Okay, this idea is only a very small representation of my feels about Beppukin, but it's where the ship really began for me. I don't think I can do the scenario proper justice without heavy spoilers, but this particular snippet only makes sense in the context of the AU I wrote it for. It's a season 2 rewrite that piggybacks off the season 1 rewrite I'm still working on.
The final showdown naturally happens in a significantly different manner.
When Kinshirou outstretched his hand to them, seeing something of his previous self in them and wanting to guide them to redemption, the twins saw some hope for themselves. So, Kinshirou becomes a mentor to them and they dote on him with the full force of their affection. This scene then takes place immediately after the VEPPer concert at the end of the season 2 finale.

Two excited voices called for his attention in unison and, when he turned to find the source, the twins were already beside him with their hands clasped at their chests and looks of pure adoration and utmost respect in their eyes.
âDid you see us? Were you watching? What did you think? Did you like the show?â
They left so little space between each question that he would have had trouble distinguishing who had said what if he hadnât been looking directly at them, but he was getting used to this habit of theirs.
âI could never fully bring myself to understand anyoneâs fixation with pop music,â he confessed.
For a moment, the twins looked worried as though they had disappointed him somehow.
âButâŚâ Kinshiro cleared his throat and forced himself not to betray his embarrassment by looking away. âI did enjoy it.â
And when the twinsâ smiles returned more brightly than they had been before, apparently more than satisfied with that measly answer, Kinshiro was positive he was blushing.

Megawa andthe first-year triplets from S1E3~ <3 <3 <3 <3
Cuteundercover badass Megawa and his legion of love! I mean, how freakingadorable?! The mental image of the triplets excitedly running up to him to givehim cuddles when they see him, and the four of them running Megawaâs honeystand together is the most precious thing to me. And I could go on about thesefour andthe scenario I have in my head about them forever, but I think Iâll cut myself off here because otherwise this postwill never end. ;;w;;
đ˘Shipthat is most misunderstood: Beppukin and Beppuyumo
Iâm not sure if these are exactly âmisunderstoodâships or if itâs just the fact that I like them that seems misunderstood, but Ireally do like them (platonic or romantic) and I want to talk about it. For me,both of these ships are situational⌠like a lot of my ships are. In an AUsetting where certain things went differently and/or with a lot of charactergrowth from everyone involved, I feel like the dynamics in these ships have alot of potential to be something really cute⌠as I will proceed to brieflyexplain under a cut just to be safe.

What I really love about Beppukin is the potential forKinshirou to become a sort of mentor to the twins. The twins following afterhim at his heels all the time and Kinshirou acting as though heâs annoyed by itbecause itâs his duty as the Student Council President to take them under hiswings, but secretly he enjoys it and is more fond of them than heâll admit. Ofcourse, everyone else knows and theyâre not buying his excuses. But whetherromantic or platonic, I feel like theyâd fit well together and I just have alot of feelings about them in general that I wonât go into detail about becausethen Iâd REALLY never get to the end of this post if I had to explain an entireAU setting. //shot
But basically, Kinshirou deserves to have so much love andaffection and attention focused on him, okay? And the twins are shameless withtheir adoration and their attention, so Kinshirou wouldnât have to feel insecureor like he was being abandoned. Kinshirou wouldnât take advantage of the twinsor try to make them do things they arenât comfortable with either. He wouldrespect them and want them to respect themselves as well, so they wouldnât haveto put on that act around him. Also,Kinshirou wouldnât let them get away with unhealthy behaviors, so no moregetting off without a scolding. These three can each be overbearing in their ownways, though, and it would be something theyâd have to get used to, but overtime they would learn how to respect each otherâs space and adjust to eachotherâs individual routines. But the thing that really got me hooked on thisship while I was plotting an AU was how, considering the similarities of whatKinshirou and the twins went through and how their character arcs developed, theycan understand each other and continue to grow and redeem themselves together(with the twins under Kinshirouâs guidance).
As for Beppuyumo, I love how cute and fluffy it has the potential tobe. They fillthat vulnerable space that each of them has. Especially how Yumotohas enough love to make up for what the twins lacked from other humans all thistime and the twins have a lot of affection that Yumoto needs from someone otherthan his brother.I also think itâs adorable how Yumoto wants someone to cuddle with and thetwins seem to be the only ones (at least at school) who like it. So, becausethereâs two of them and theyâll actually cuddle Yumoto back, Yumoto getstwice the affection. And when Yumoto doesnât stand up for himself, thetwins could stand up for him. Theyâre a lot more direct when it comes to that sort ofthing, so theyâd want to make sure that heâs okay and that people donât getaway with just stepping all over him because he doesnât want to fight. Ofcourse, a lot of character development and/or an AU scenario that I donât feellike describing in detail would have to happen to get them to that point, but hellIâm dedicated to my situational ships and the stories that come with them. LikeI said, thereâs potential~ >v<
