I FINALLY FINISHED THE REF SHEET anyway hes my baby have more notes:

he has a very fluffy tail, to the point where its very heavy and tiring to lift up. Kinda like how hes dragging with him all that angst and suffering and grief

a few scars because he ended up in a few fights as a warrior apprentice

white stripes under his eyes reflect the tears he has and will shed

teal/green eye matches corvidmoor/mercutio's

a chamomile and rosemary under each ear because both his parents are dead

he adds plants each time he loses someone he cares about. stuff nimbusrue keeps in his fur and why:

honeysuckle: romeo, after he died. symbolises enduring love, deep affection and happiness

jackdaw feather: mercutio/corvidmoor, after he died

rosemary: symbolises remembrance that doesnt fade with the seasons due to being an evergreen herb. maybe also for his father after he died bc uhhh hamlet reference

chamomile: his mother, after she died

lemon balm: his aunt/romeos mother, after she died. symbolises comfort and soothing a heavy heart, like how she took him in and essentially became a mother figure to him after his mother died

he also carries other herbs in his fur when foraging

His prefix, nimbus, is a type of cloud that is dark, dense, and precipitates continuously. his suffix, rue, means bitter regret and sorrow about an event. the plant rue also symbolises regret.

the point pattern on his face is like a mask, and the white splotch is like a crack within that mask. because he is trying his best to cope but its slowly breaking down :))

hes a medicine cat because if he cant stop the fighting he may as well help patch cats up afterwards so he can still feel helpful in some way (and all the deaths devastate him even more because of this and makes him feel useless again heheh..)

contrast warriors volio being weighed down by responsibility and sorrow with warriors cutio being rebellious and light and carefree :)
