We all love a bit of #bentply don’t we? But what exactly is this? Does a flip through the pictures give some ideas? The ply is thin and flimsy so doesn’t really hold much weight. Ingenious clasps and clips hold it together when opened out. At first glance, a case for a somewhat portable old Bakelite radio? But to open out to a travelling cot for a featherweight baby? It looks to date from the 20s or 30s. We would love to know what it is, and who VC refers to.
