I JUST FINISHED NEVER HAVE I EVER AND IM SOBBING YESSS

sometimes I think of how Ben immediately locked onto Finn’s feelings of conflict and dissent to the First Order in that opening TFA scene, possibly because he recognized that emotional signature in himself and might have looked the other way because he understood.  And that final fight scene between them, that rage over Finn being a traitor, came from a kind of envy- that Finn could leave, and do what Ben didn’t have the courage or will to do.

I have so many questions about Ben tho... like do those tentacles actually live inside him? Is there like a portal in his stomach that he can open and close that they come out of? Can he control them at all or do they just go everywhere? Is it like some kind of eldritch abomination from a different dimension? Is it sentient? Did it kill Ben? Did Ben kill himself? Did Ben die on a mission? DiD hE gEt HiS wAfFLeS???
