Here is a sampling of some contemporary artists using netted structure in their work.

New Craft Artists in Action or NCAA is an international artist collective based in Boston. They work to “integrate the skills, materials, and histories of many intersecting disciplines: athletics, craft, public space, aesthetics, labor, recreation, and feminism.”
Benjamin Cook created a series of painted and resined nets like this one as part of his contemporary painting practice.
