pretending to be elena was just getting plain boring . there was no fun to it anymore when everyone knew that she was katherine pierce , or that she was around at least . she had to be honest , playing puppeteer with caroline forbes was definitely fun , but what would be more fun would be attempting to manipulate the little witch friend . appearing next to the bennett she let out a chuckle to make her presence known . “ 𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐧-𝐛𝐨𝐧 , 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐜 ? ”

                      “WHO ARE YOU to assume you know every drop of magic?” His tone was... pointed. More pointed than it should have been, ADMITTEDLY, but Kol was on the last of his last nerves with witches; he was fed up, especially, with witches who forgot who knew more about magic. He had said the spell was possible because he’d WRITTEN it centuries prior. 

No trust, honestly. It was enough to make a man give up. 

He grabbed a spare sheet of paper and sketched a single sigil on the page. It wasn’t the full spell — he’d be an idiot to write that kind of magic down for ANYONE, least of all one of the Mystic Falls gang who, no matter what side they were on, always seemed to assume Kol was on the opposite. He held up the sigil for the witch to see.
