Today in the OTHC tent we were rummaging through piles of old wax cylinders and came across this self-titled cylinder by Benedictonfire. Finding this really took us back to the days of circle chair pits and combed hair. I remember my seventh cousin thrice removed's Barmitzvah when this was played. Let me just say that we hit the wine that day harder than I have ever before.
Benedictonfire have since announced their departure and sadly, we here in OTHC missed their last tour of the Holy Land. One of the members is still making music under the moniker of Temple and Tint and he will be visiting the Holy Land soon. We may see some Benedictonfire renditions when the time comes. Personal favourites from this debut wax cylinder are Little children praying and bowing, A spear through the side of Lord Jesus and Hieroglyphs of desert jackals.
