CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT || STILL ACCEPTING.
1 - What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this – optional.
It’s often shown in-game that Akira sleeps on his back, though I believe this is often only when he’s trying to fall asleep as opposed to his actual sleeping position. Unless Morgana decides to rest on his stomach, he often tosses and turns -- you don’t get that sort of bedhead for no reason. He’ll often have nightmares, which is also why he writhes around in his sleep constantly.
2 - Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc.
His most outstanding feature would be his frizzy and fluffy hair; other than that, he does have perpetual bags under his eyes and a few scars scattered throughout his body. Most of them are faded, but they are noticeable if he doesn’t cover them up with his clothes. They frequent his arms and legs, although there are a few additional scars on his back.
3 - Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like?
If anything, I’d say a Japanese one? This isn’t going based on English voice actors, even though I write primarily in English and have only played that version of the game. I’d say that he’d probably have a Western Japanese accent.
4 - Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?
I’m answering this based on his / my version of his English dialect because I have no in-depth knowledge of Japanese -- but he tends to have difficulty explaining concepts to others. He never discloses the true origins of their Metaverse navigation app because he can’t figure out how to even word his explanation. Additionally, he occasionally uses advanced vocabulary, but it’s somewhat obvious that he’s never heard how to pronounce certain words. Complicated words with difficult pronunciations often screw him up.
5 - What are their chief tension areas?
His BACK. All of it. This boy slouches way too much. His shoulders and knees are often key points of tension, as well.
6 - If you were to pick one song – and only one song – to describe your character, what would it be and why?
Aggressively peruses my playlist of relatable P5 protag songs. Also, okay, fucking sue me because I couldn’t stick to one --
Heathens, Aspiring Fires, A Sadness Runs Through Him, & Parade were the ones I thought of for the best fits. I also thought of Hurt almost immediately, but I’m not sure how fitting it is.
