Sunday Ramble
Okay. Afew years ago I tried my hand at games design in xcode and cocos2d for iOS and I loved the challenge it provided me to learn something new, whilst trying to work towards actually making something. I did finally get to a point when I was really proud of what I had created and did get to share it. Okay like many others, it wasn't the best but for me it was a huge deal and since then, I haven't been so afraid of actually trying something new. About a year I started to develop websites, self teaching myself html5, php, java etc and because got a tend addictive to the thrive of actually creating something 'raw' so to speak. But who doesn't love a challenge? Recently I got chatting to afew friends about games design and have some how found myself back browsing the vast collection of tutotial pages and coding textbooks whilst having a huge crack at getting my head around Blender 3D. Really random I know and everyone has to start somewhere but damn it, why do I always end up here?! I love the challenge and there is nothing more addictive then having a creative bend of ideas that swamp your notesbooks but seriously.. Rarely find much free time between work and other projects, only to protential be adding another one to the pile. Time to invest in a coffee machine I think, or a time turner? Hmmm.. sounds like a plan to me.
