Just watched a video with men using 'suicide grip' while benching.
It's when you don't wrap your thumb around the bar and so your thumb is the same side as their fingers.
Once the bar started to roll they have no real grip to catch it and it fell on their chest. :/
One of the stories the guy spoke of was from last year when he saw that a guy had worked up to a 315 single bench press using the suicide grip. The bar started to roll and fell on him. He ended up in the hospital with 8 broken ribs.
Why would someone choose to use this grip???
