what is your favorite holiday?
i’m gonna go with Halloween! i love how the whole month is spooky themed and COSTUMES N CANDY? HELL YEA !Â
@ben-yatta I drew 9S from Nier Automata.. he's my favourite boy
@ben-yatta : asks are closed bud but 🎂
Oh shit whoops, my bad! They're open now haha
🎂- if you had 3 wishes, what would they be?
Probably to make some/a really good friend/s who like the same games and movies as I do, and when they don't they support my interests and let me talk about them a lot, and I can do the same for them! (Maybe a romantic person but who knows)
Wish 2 would be uh,,, idk that's really all I want. I would like the ability to talk to people and make casual friends easier.
Wish 3 I wanna be able to make people feel good about themselves idk
Sweet asks
32 and 25 my friend
You didn’t specify what characters so I’ll do all of them
25. What inspired you to create them / how did you create them? Were they originally a fancharacter? What was their personality / design like when you first made them?
Lukas was born from my musings on what if a Magic: The Gathering character died at the same time that their Planeswalker spark ignited. Other factors that led to Lukas’ conception included me thinking about a character whose power is to manipulate the corporeality of both themselves and people/objects around them. Initially, Lukas was supposed to be a ghost that haunts a suit of armor in order to interact with physical objects, but that got changed to him just being a ghost that can temporarily become corporeal. He largely uses this power to eat.
Cleo is based on a concept I thought of in high school of a fantasy race of people that are made of clay and earthenware (and also as an excuse to make a character with a cool shattered looking scar). I didn’t really have much of a personality to give her until my 3rd year of college, when we discussed historiography and the ways that history is recorded and preserved.Â
Bonnie was born out my desire to make a character that swears a lot and is generally loud, crass, and has a propensity for making creative insults – especially since most of my characters I’ve made by this point were are polite and respectful. Other factors that inspired Bonnie was the Ixalan expansion of Magic: The Gathering, hense why Bonnie is a siren pirate.Â
Brahm is largely inspired by the song “When You’re Evil” by Aurelio Voltaire. I thought it’d be fun to have a cheery, sadistic ne’er-do-well who sings and dances as he commits atrocities and crimes.Â
Jules is largely inspired by David Bowie, Frankenstein, and the manga Black Jack. I thought it’d be interesting to have a doctor-type character, whose skills, memories, and personality are an amalgamation of the people they’re made up of, and so I made Jules.
The Stranger takes inspiration from the Badge Seller from a Hat in Time as well as The King In Yellow. I wanted to make a creepy re-occurring character that pops up from time to time in my works as a background character what traffics in all manner of weird and strange wares.
Jakob takes heavy inspiration from fighting games and tieflings from D&D. Mostly I based his ideology and his desire to be the best from aspects I saw in both fighting games and the fighting game community: to prove himself through gusto, clever thinking, and honest fighting.
Nona’s my current D&D character, and I wanted to make a new character because I haven’t played in quite a while.Â
Byron was inspired by the influx of incels, and I thought it’d be funny to make a joke character that embodies the incel ideology – creepy, privileged people whining about people not wanting to be with them – and have that character get his shit ruined all the time. Consistently and thoroughly.Â
Julie is inspired by the Musketeer from Darkest Dungeon and Julie d'Aubigny, a French swordswoman and opera singer.Â
32. If they could have one thing in the world, what would it be?
Lukas: To be able to help as many people as he can Cleo: To find the origins of her peopleBonnie: Money (all of it)Brahm: Total anarchyJules: To be accepted for whom they areThe Stranger: ???Jakob: To be the greatest champion/fighterNona: To understand what her purpose isByron: SexJulie: To settle down and live peacefully
