//Y’know, while I’ve been chilling, I ran into one of those “If the multiverse theory is true, then there’s a universe where it’s not!” things followed by something about ghosts and was like “Huh, what if Sal or Bonely went to a universe where ghosts/spirits didn’t exist?” 

//Like, the existence of ghosts/spirits is so ingrained to their story, not having ghosts might actually make things difficult for them. Like, Salem thrives on helping folks and being able to communicate with the ethereal beings of his world, while Bonely’s literally only alive because of a dark spirit/demon. Heck, keimin magic is legit energy that is produced by their souls.

//So what if they were to enter a universe where spirits, even dark spirits, didn’t exist? If spirits had their own subatomic particles that produced energy, what would it be like for them to be in a universe completely void of those particles & energies? Tbh I think it might be like putting a salt-water fish in freshwater. Although they can last for a while, being in an environment completely devoid of a particle and energy found in all parts of their world would probably make them very sick and likely kill them if they didn’t get back to their world.

//I think the only way to prevent this kind of salt-water fish vs fresh water scenario is actually with a World Jumper’s tool which is specifically made to shield its user with a kind of invisible forcefield/membrane to keep such scenarios from happening. However, if Sal or Bonely were to fall or accidentally walk through a Rift, they’d only have so much time to get back or at least send a distress signal before the world they’ve entered tries to “equalize” itself with them by draining their energy/ghost particles. IE: bad news for my boyos.
