Belrene was orphaned after the Sun Queen attacked her home and her sister told her to run and get to safety in the Kingdom of Ursha. Belrene was then taken in by the Captain of the Guards, and became an additional member to his family. Giving Belrene a new older sister while she mourned her last one.

Astrid became Belrenes new sister, and while she at times can be overly strict to Belrene, she just wants Belrene to be prepared for the world and to fight when she’ll need to.

Belrene found ways to cope with the loss of her family by inventing, she found that putting her mind to use was a much better distraction, and soon it became something she was quite passionate in as she began working on devices for those without natural magic to use.

Belrene became friends with Tamare at a young age, and the two were quite inseparable despite their interests often clashing. Belrene began to feel a bit neglected after Ivy joined their friendship, and focused on her inventions even more than before as a way to cope with her complicated feelings

Belrene can be very sweet but when she believes she’s in the right regarding something, it’s hard to change her mind.

Belrene loves inventing and coming up with ideas, she also loves to mix up potions with Crystalli

While she doesn’t always get along with Ivy, she secretly really wants Ivy’s validation because she thinks she’s cool

Despite Astrid teaching Belrene how to fight for years, Belrene is still really bad at it

Bella is her nickname, but only her sister calls her it. Her friends gave her the nicknames “Rena” and “Blue Bel”
