The Voice You Listen to Shape Your Life. “And a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved son, whom I love; with him, I am well pleased” Matt. 3:17.   Welcome to a blessed day! Your winning streak has just begun! Thank God you are still here to start your day with this excellent guide to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Gospel of Jesus. God owes no man – He will surely reward those who diligently seek Him. Our focus today is hearing God’s affirming and validating voice. Many times, we are faced with doubts and disappointments. We feel let down by those we wished could believe in us. Hence, we desperately crave for validation and reassurance. Voice is the prose of word which everyone expresses their thoughts and feelings. Those words that we speak have an impact on others to withstand or withered in their challenges of life.   This is why we need the Holy Spirit in our hearts to speak words of validation and acceptance from the throne of God to us on this earth filled with doubt and fear. As Christians, we need to consistently hear this reassuring voice of God within our heart. Chinese Proverb says, “The tongue can paint what the eyes can’t see.”  My question, do you often hear the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to reassure you that He loves you and you are indeed a child of God? This is super important; it molds our identity and how we respond to life. To continually become acquainted with the voice of assurance and validation from the Lord, you need to listen to God’s voice through His words with a more profound sense of openness and acceptance.   Surely, if Jesus needed to hear this voice of assurance, trust me, you also need it. This voice delivered Him from falling into Satan’s temptation when he tried to attack his personality with temptations that pull sheets of doubt, fear, and insecurity on, Jesus’ perception about Himself. Thank God He already knew who He was in Matthew 3:17. You also need this heavenly approval resounding in your inner ears, heart, and mind to keep you from falling into the enemy’s deception. The voice that would not allow one word of doubt, fear, despair, and discouragement settle on your mind, but instead you will hear this Saying words like: “God loves me; I can make it; it is possible because I believe in Christ Jesus; I am accepted in Christ; I am competent in Jesus.” You see with God's voice and His word, there is no place for argument or confusion because He is God by himself. “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, my counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” Isaiah 46:10   Prayer Thank God for the Holy Spirit, comforting us with the voice of hope. I speak to the Lord, and he hears me, now I command at the name of Jesus every evil voice crying against my destiny be silence in Jesus name. I command every evil voice controlling my daily covenant to be silent in the name of Jesus. I command every evil voice calling on me to sin, misbehave to go away from me now in Jesus name. I plead the blood of Jesus against every voice of shame, embarrassment, and reproach in my house, business, and ministry in Jesus name.     I came to prophesy that the voice of hardship, disappointment, frustration, and death will not be your portion in Jesus name. Instead, you will hear the voice of peace and love. I am God's messenger, who is coming to bring favor, breakthrough, and promotion in Jesus name.   Thank you for reading, sharing, and support. I have built many complex and intricate pieces of furniture, cabinetry, and instruments over the years, but this one has been my hardest. How do you build the final resting place for your firstborn sons ashes? How do you pour all of the love, hope, joy, sorrow, and pain into pieces of wood? I knew when William died in my arms one year ago today that this would be the hardest and most important project of my life thus far. It still feels inadequate, but it is finished. This is my present to you, William, for your first birthday. I poured all the skill, love, and hope I have into this mahogany, cherry, and walnut for you. I love you dearly my Son.
